Happy Holidays From My Family To Yours!! With the Holidays soon to be in full swing I thought I would share a few hair tips to accompany your hair routine during all the festivities.
1. Leave the Curling Iron Behind
I know that wand curls and bouncy curls from a flat iron are in. But heatless curls have made huge strides and are becoming more of the go to for curls primarily because heatless curls last longer than curls that come from curlers and flat irons. Moreover since heat is damaging to the hair, challenge yourself this holiday season to rock curls with the help of flexi rods, perm rods, and satin rollers.
2. Use Heavier Oils to Seal in Moisture
If you live in cooler climates that using a light oil such as Sweet Almond Oil may not be holding in the moisture as it once may have during the summer. With cooler climates come drier hair and drier hair becomes brittle and breaks. Switch it up! Try using a heavier oil such a Castor or Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Argan Oil, or Avocado Oil to seal in the moisture for your hair and see how you like it. I am a fan of Argan Oil and Avocado.
3. Protective Styles are Your Friend
The Holiday season will be packed with things to do and people to see, on top of maintain or regular every day affairs! Try picking a protective style that will compliment you in any setting whether it be for the Corporate Holiday Party to the Family Thanksgiving Dinner. Rocking a protective style will also help you save on time and even dollars-more money to spend on gifts right?
